Every year, our surgeons, consisting of experts specializing in general surgery and surgical oncology, perform thousands of complex cancer surgeries, including esophageal, stomach, bowel, liver, soft tissue (sarcomas and melanomas), breast, adrenal gland, and other surgeries. Our department also handles most pancreas and spinal sarcoma surgeries performed in Israel.
The hospital features technologically advanced facilities, including the most recent innovations in the fields of oncology and surgery. Over the past decade our team has gained extensive expertise in so-called “regional chemotherapy” (РХТ), which is used for treatment of proliferating tumors in case of unsatisfactory primary treatment results.
Our mission is to provide quality care to the patient by applying the very latest treatments in a compassionate environment. We use a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, which means that each patient receives tailored care from a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals. After discharge from the hospital, the surgeons of our department provide follow-up care for the patients at the hospital-based outpatient facility.
